New York Day 4...Ground Zero part A

Life at home with an infant hasn't left me with a whole lot of time to research sites to see in NY. Consequently my must see list was very small and one of the things at the top was Ground Zero. Its now a giant construction site, there is very little that would suggest anything sinister had occurred here and yet even as I stepped off the subway and dodged New Yorkers on their way to work I was surprised by the lump in my throat. This is an event that I will remember as long as I have memories.

If you look closely, in the center background of this photo is the steeple of the church that was very close to the towers and yet undamaged on September 11. Incredible.
